EnvironMental
Food Heritage

Environ.Mental Food Heritage is a 10-day youth exchange that gathered 46 young people from all over the world in a beautiful educational farm in the middle of Italy.

The goal? To learn about their own and others’ food heritage, to ultimately understand and embody diversity and inclusion of every culture through food – and not only.

It happened between 3rd and 12th of June 2023.

This project is funded by the Erasmus+ Program and supported by the  Bulgarian National Agencof Erasmus| Център за развитие на човешките ресурси

Our
Objectives

    • Give the opportunity to 46 youngsters with fewer opportunities to meet and learn together
    • Promote cultural diversity awareness
    • Enhance a sense of empowerment, creativity, and autonomy.

This project follows the EnvironMental method of learning. The hands-on approach empowers educators to learn by doing and in this way immediately bring new skills to their daily practices. The whole process is designed in cycles of practice and reflection that leads to an embodied learning experience.

The sense of community is valuable. I learned to open up to people I didn’t know a few days earlier. I learned to take responsibility for household and other community tasks. [...]

I gained the sence of community and managed to find ways how to create a community with people which i have never seen before; I have learn how to take risks and be more flexible and spontaneous; I will definitelly take away the way of thinking without any judgement.
